Rachel + Michael's session started with us meeting on the hilltop of a twin cities suburb reserve. These two were grinning ear to ear and instantly we were all friends. Their outdoor engagement session in Minnesota was the first session I held in Minnesota, and we bonded instantly over their upcoming wedding plans. It was such a perfect night. I knew it was going to be a good one, but it truly exceeded all expectations. As the plan was a shorter session, we had a gorgeous sunset while capturing images to make GIFs (found throughout the website) and a short video clip of their love (found directly below this paragraph). R + M are both Minnesota natives and fell in love during their college days. The reserve was the perfect location for this outdoor engagement session– mixing in their history together in their area with lavish yellow-greens, blue hues of water, rolling hills, and headlights. To protect the location and its wildlife, we managed to stay in one area (which was a new challenge for me) with a chain rope marketing off what locations we were allowed on. These two were the sweetest couple – this evening was INSPIRING. From start to finish, Rachel + Michael were the most relaxed and so in love during their session.
