WINTER modern-lux
Greenery at THE LOFT 132
Sun Prairie, Wisconsin
Hayley and Brad met at a local tavern in the Spring Green, Wisconsin area on a random Thursday night. "I instantly knew," Hayley said. In hopes he'd show up again, she went back again Saturday night. Come to find out, Brad never really went there but happened to have a friend from Milwaukee visit that weekend, and the rest was left up to fate.
Hayley and Brad's vision for their wedding day was one out of a Joanna Gains modern farmhouse vibe, as Hayley described it in one of our earlier conversations. The velvet dark green bridesmaid dresses emphasized the sleek black suits or the groomsmen. With the Catholic ceremony in Plain, Wisconsin on a cold December day, their friends and family rejoiced at the couple tieing the knot.
I got the pleasure of capturing the ending moments of Hayley, her girls, and her daughters getting ready at her parent's home. With the help of a second shooter, they were able to capture Brad's special moments with his son getting suited up before heading to the church.
Once the bridal party and family shots were done inside the church, the party hopped on the bus to bar hop, prior to arriving at The Loft.
I arrived right before them to get set up on the rooftop to take a few more bridal party shots, as well as sunset photos of The Bindls.
Hayley's family owns Oakwood Fruit Farm, so it was a must of theirs to have a dessert donut wall! With cute accents of peonies in their hanging floral display behind the head table, the florist did not disappoint! The DJ played the hits, and a specialist C'mon N' Ride It (The Train) Bindl version, got the whole party dancing!
It was a gorgeous intimate day captured on Digital + 35mm Film Photographs.
