Kara + Jimmy were a couple that I instantly connected with. Their rooftop engagement session in downtown Boston felt like hanging with two old friends – and we bonded over drinks + apps after (food = key to my heart). It was such a perfect day, and I was majorly counting down until their wedding day the rest of the year! I knew it was going to be a good one, but it truly exceeded all expectations. K + J are both New England natives and recently moved back to Boston after spending a few years in San Francisco, and wanted to incorporate both their East Coast roots + their love of the West Coast vibes into their day. Bourne Farm in Falmouth, MA was the perfect venue for their day – mixing classic Cape Cod charm with the wide open outdoor space that California venues are known for. Kara did the planning herself, bringing in the perfect mix of modern + bohemian elements to their tented wedding. The details were beautiful, but more importantly – this day was FUN. From start to finish, Kara + Jim were the most laid-back and their outlook allowed them to be so present on their day. Anytime I looked over at them, they were laughing or smiling and it was infectious to be around! At the end of the night after my hours were up, my second shooter and I were having way too much fun to leave so we stayed until the very end to party with this crew and I couldn’t help but pick up my camera for a few photos of the hilarity that ensued.
